Before we hit Restart
we have worked with film and video since 1980`s. We were spending days playing with the big toys like Discreet Fire and Smoke. We were Art directors,special effects supervisors, digital colorists and post-production producers in the large production companies. And then we deceided to Restart
How we re-started
at first we got a job to digitally restore a greatest Slovenian film (by the critics opinion) called Dance in the rain (Ples v dezju). So we went to US, and took a course in digital film restoration, and finished a project on time and on budget. Next, we got a job to create a corporate identity for a weekly tv show about music called Arimija. The show was on the air for 3 years, all with the same identity. Shortly after that, we got the funds to make a short animated film called Love Signs. That project took us to NYC to the Pixar exibition just to see, how are they handling the process of making a animated film, learned a lot, and after 6 months the short film was made. Than, we went to doing what we really like-making beautiful images, effects , openings and animations, in form of commercials, TV corporate identities and short movies. Not much later, we got the first Di job - the feature film called Reality.
Where are we now
we are constantly trying to be on the edge with technology, knowledge and creativity. After short amount of time we build a long list of clients and people we are working with. And we are still having fun doing what we like the best. Creating beautiful images.
